Werewolf Heart Radio w/ Tim Anderson from Ima Robot

Francisco, where hip hop, hardcore, skateboarding, and house music were all simultaneously blossoming.. Over the next decade, Tim started the band Ima Robot, wrote and produced for several other bands/ artists, founded Werewolf Heart Records, and started a family. All Those Moments with Adam 12 from She Wants Revenge

Friday 8-10pm, Sunday 1-3am

All Those MomentsHaving rocked parties since the age of 16, Adam 12 has gone from underground hip-hop DJ in his native Los Angeles, to being an influential DJ/producer/musician and tastemaker, traveling the world making people dance – and blowing minds.
Coming up as a DJ in the late 80’s, Adam became an essential part of the budding LA hip-hop scene in the 90’s, and his mix tapes featured vocals and drops from Rakim and Biggie to Dr. Dre and 2Pac.
As word spread, he soon became the go-to DJ for Prince, Dr. Dre, and Puff Daddy, as well as playing parties for Stevie Wonder, Madonna, and Michael Jackson, yet because of his love for his craft, he’s been able to toe the line between underground club DJ, and playing Hollywood parties and celebrity events across the country and around the world.
Along the way he applied his lifetime of musical knowledge and talents in the recording studio as a producer, remixer, and composer, working with artists such as Esthero, Sean Lennon, Mos Def, Placebo, Cut Chemist, Beyonce, and countless others.
Not satisfied there, he partnered with musician and childhood friend Justin Warfield and started his own group, She Wants Revenge, which went on to garner massive radio play, sell hundreds of thousands of records, and tour the world with Depeche Mode as well as headlining tours and festivals worldwide.
At the core, Adam is a thoughtful DJ whose passion shows in his sets. He can play any genre, to any crowd, in any venue, and do so not only with a deep knowledge of the music, but with the goal of making wherever he’s at the hottest party it can be, his house-party roots coming through…even in front of 45,000 people!
In a time when anyone with an ipod or a laptop loaded with borrowed music can call themselves a DJ, Adam is someone who has earned the right to bear the initials before high school.

For three decades, Mielniczenko has performed yeoman work as DJ, emcee, curator and general, all-around tastemaker, spreading the word of the breadth of Brazilian music. Headline Live with Jean Luc Gaudry (Punk Show)

(The show is on break)

HeadlineFor many years, I was a DJ at a small DIY radio station in Orleans, France. At the same time, I organized some shows: Jeff Dahl on his first European Tour, Devil Dogs, Burning Heads, Didjits, 9 Pound Hammer, Jawbreaker and many more…. In 1995, I opened Headline Records Store here in Los Angeles. From the beginning, Headline Records has completely been D.I.Y. Also, from its inception, the store has doubled as a makeshift club where both local & touring bands can play. Since we started, we’re proud to say that we’ve had over 500 shows (you can check the band’s listing in the website). Most of them were free to the public & free. For me, those shows were an integral part of Headline Records, which is equally as important as the records we sell.
Unfortunately, on Feb 28th 2003 (25 ta Life, Skaretactic, Folsom, Low Life) the store was shut down by the fire department. The decision to stop doing shows at the store was hard, but necessary. We didn’t really have a choice.
